The KL Monorail Extension Project connecting Kuala Lumpur and Subang area via Old Klang Road is proposed to bridge the missing link for better connectivity in the KL Transport network master plan.  

The proposed line extension covers an alignment of approximately 14km to the west of Kuala Lumpur with 14 numbers of stations starting from the Brickfields area and heading towards the Sunway commercial area via Jalan Kelang Lama, Kg. Medan area,  and ends at Sunway Township.

The proposal will provide a new connectivity that aims to increase mobility for the people along the proposed corridor to the Kuala Lumpur metropolitan via the existing KL Monorail line.
